Miracles Never Cease

HELLO HELLO HELLO

It has been forever since I have updated on this thing. Summer has been extremely busy. Wow, I don't even know where to begin.

Well, the choir headed out the first part of June for our East Coast Tour. We went to Connicut, New Hampshire and Boston and New York City.

We got a free day in Boston and NYC. We had the best time. In NYC I got to see Ground Zero which was very moving. Even though its been a few years since 9/11 you can still feel the pain and sorrow of that place.  Then we got to go to Chinatown. Bought a couple of purses which I loved. But I got one for Brittany and Crystal.

Then got to see a Broadway show. The Phantom of the Opera. OH IT WAS WONDERFUL!!!

Then in Boston a lot of historical sites. The East Coast is a very beautiful area.

Then the choir went to St. Louis and sang at a sunday school conference where Brother Wayne Huntly preached. He is awesome.

Then last weekend Dave, myself and Brittany and Cody along with Jaimie and Daniel went to Chicago for the weekend. I love visiting Chicago. There is so much to do there. We seen things and went places we have never seen before.

Then next weekend David and myself are going to Pennsylvannia on vacation. We are going to Niagra Falls and Hershey Penn. and Lancaster Penn. Not sure where else were going but I know we are going to enjoy every minute of it. The only sad thing is this will be the first time in 23 years that we are not going on vacation with the children. That has me down a bit but I know life goes on.

Well, our church is going great and growing. We had our Easter drama this year too and the youth are getting ready to put on a drama some time in Sept.  We never stop. LOL

Well, that is just a little of what we have been doing here. Cody is still living with us and he will be graduating in less than 8 months. Brittany is still going to school but she will be starting this week to volunteer at the school system doing sign language this next week. She is so excited about it. This way atleast it gets her foot in the door. Whoooo.,

BELIEVE IT OR NOT

I can't believe its been since Feb. since I posted. Man I am awful at this anymore. So much has gone on. But things have really slowed down here now. Our Easter Drama was a great success Thank the Lord for that. We sold over 2200 tickets. This is another one of our biggest outreaches for our city.

We are now getting ready to have Missions conference with Brother Howell and Brother and Sister Rodenbush this weekend. We should be starting practices for choir tour. We will be going to New York, Connicut and Boston. YIPPEEE I get to go this year. We will be leaving June 1st thru the 12th. I can't wait.

Oh let me see. Work has been extremely busy too! I am so ready for vacation.

Oh I got new furniture too! I will have to take some pictures and let you see it. I love it!

The kids should be getting out of school here pretty soon. I know they are ready. Sometimess I wish I were back in school then I could have three weeks off at a time. LOL Oh well guess I am to old for that though.

Can you believe on Sunday Brandon and Crystal will be married for 1 YEAR:shock: They just bought a new house. Its so adorable. They lived with us for about three weeks until they moved in. I am so happy for them.

Oh Rowdy and Jeremy and Blake are coming up for Rejoice weekend. I can't wait! They will be staying with us. Oh what fun we will have. Those nice longgggggg nights just laughing and having a blast. Then we are having a young man stay with us also from Ohio that knows Cody so we will have a house full. Oh and another friend of Cody's might be coming to from LA. I can't wait. I love alot of people. I am such a people person. The more the merrier. LOL

Oh well, I am sure there is more I just can't think of anything right at the moment. But I just want to say hello to everyone and I hope you all are doing wonderful. God bless!

HUMP DAY

By the time people read this it will officially be hump day. Wednesdays are considered this because its half way through the week. I can't wait until the weekend. I am so tired.

We helped my son and his wife move this last weekend. They are living here until they close on their new house. WHOOO! I am so happy for them.

Work has been extremely busy. I have practice starting on Thursday for Easter Drama. I have a speaking part in the play this year. The woman with the issue of blood. So I have to find my words for I can start memorizing them. I have misplaced them though OOPS!!

I have more pictures to post so I will spare you all the small talk and start loading them for I can head off to bed. Hey this is twice in a week so I am on a roll here. LOL I have been getting after Cody about updating. He is worse than I am . So I hope you all are having a fantastic rest of the week. God bless!

Spring is almost here

 Ok it won't be long until Spring arrives. I am so looking forward to it.  The snow is finally melting. We haven't had this kind of weather for about three or four years now. But we survived the blizzard of 2007. WHOOO!!! For all of you that have been missing me I thought I would post today. LOL I am going to put up a picture post for ya. Ok Keri?! hahaha Well may you all enjoy!

Hello everybody!

I know I know I am the biggest slacker this side of the Mississippi.  We we have had a lot of exciting things going on. We have been busy.

We just got back from Marriage Retreat in St. Louis this weekend. We had a blast. We had special speakers Brother and Sister Shock from Alexandria, Louisanna. They were awesome. We also had Brother and Sister Carroll from Salina, Kansas visiting with us.

We are getting ready to set up our set for our Easter Drama. That is well on its way as well. Let me see what else has gone on. Work has been busy.

Well we are finally having some Illinois weather. I have been so shocked about how warm it has been here. All you southerns have been getting our weather and we have had yours. Today we have about and inch or more of ice on the ground and now were expecting 4 to 6 inches of snow on top of it. My husband got stuck in Bloomington. Had to get a motel because  they have blizzard like conditions up there.

Well, thats about it for me. I have a boring life

Michelle I hope you doing wonderful. I have got to start doing better on this thing. I have some pictures to post sometime soon. I just have to learn how to figure out how to download them off my new digital camera. LOL I am so sad I know.
